First Prize

Two (2) first place winners will be selected and notified by the judging panel by 11:59pm on January 15, 2021

Each of these winners will receive the following:

1. $2,000 in prize money

2. Award plaque engraved with their name and composition title

3. World Premiere of their piece at the WCFT Competition Concert in 2021

4. Collaborative recording of their piece where the composer will get to participate in the recording process to ensure it is realized the way she intended

5. Publication deal for the winning pieces through Murphy Music Press

These winners will receive no monetary prize, but will be featured as an honorable mention and receive a certificate with their name and composition title
